Origin of the Soul Connections Design
Soul Connections was born in the middle of a moment that felt both accidental and destined. While working on a piece of aged redwood — painting my favorite combinations of oils across its weathered surface — the wood, brittle from time and history, suddenly broke. I was left with no choice but to make it work.
Instead of discarding it, I mended the fragments, joining them with circular cuts of wood that created a new rhythm, a new movement. In that unexpected break, a design emerged — one filled with melancholy, breath, and quiet resilience.
Each connected piece carried its own individuality, yet together they formed a subtle, undeniable will for unity. A visual reminder that even broken things can become whole again, and that meaning often reveals itself in the act of repair.
This is how Soul Connections came to life — a design that breathes, moves, and honors the beauty of imperfection and the power of connection.
