It is striking —and undeniably true— that social resentment, whether declared or silent, shapes the way many interpret art; in the end, what is grotesque to some becomes a desert rose to others, for every observer sees what they wish to see.
Resulta curioso —y profundamente cierto— que el resentimiento social, declarado o silencioso, modele la manera en que muchos miran el arte; al final, lo que para unos es grotesco para otros se transforma en una rosa del desierto, al final, cada observador según su estado leerá lo que quiere leer.

I ran into an old “friend” from my past — someone who never truly knew me.
The moment she saw me, she asked,
“Whatever happened to your music?”
I smiled and replied,
“It’s been right here with me all along, thriving, never leaving my side.
But tell me… where have you been?”
